On July 23, 2023, I wrote a letter to Governor Shapiro. In my letter I had asked him to make Pennsylvania a better place to live for our widow and widower neighbors. You can read my letter to the Governor here.
On August 17, 2024 I wrote another letter to the Editor of the Observer Reporter about property tax reform, homelessness and our state officials not stepping up to fix the property tax problem. My letter was never published. You can read my letter here.
On November 6, 2024 I wrote a letter to the Editor of the Observer Reporter about a 15% – 25% retirement cost-of-living increase for PA state workers and teachers that would be a tax burden on other retirees. It was published in the paper on November 12, 2024. You can read that letter here.

I will let you know once my day has been added to their calendar/website. 103024 Update: I did a follow-up email to the National Day Calendar since I was not getting any more feedback. I am now being told that my national day was not approved. I responded by asking for an explanation as to why they had changed their decision. I am still waiting for a response. You can review my original notice of my approved day here. I received a response on November 4th and was told this is not an approval and that I can resubmit my application. See the response here. I wrote back and told her I would not resubmit my application, that the letter I received was an approval of my day and that the approval notice should be honored.

Mission Statement
The main focus of my mission is to assist any widow or widower in need of help with their spouse’s funeral expenses, a gravestone for their spouse’s final resting place, and other unique services that include helping with medical expenses, when needed, for their remaining companion, their beloved pet.
While I strive to be a driving force of well-being for the widows and widowers in my community in whom I serve, sometimes it is the little things that make all the difference.
It will be my compassion and passion for others that will make Emails to Heaven special in the eyes of my members.
I am also making it my mission to change how society perceives all widows and widowers and to help others, like me, thru these tough times and hopefully make some of life’s obstacles a little easier.
Emails to Heaven, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that assists Widows and Widowers with unique services in the counties of Allegheny and Washington in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Emails to Heaven also provides support to other areas which are noted within our special program sections as well. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
